So part of the premise of the CLEAR program at MCO is that you will NEVER be a selectee, even if you have SSSS on your BP.
HAH
So I was walking thru the CLEAR lane at MCO, and I *DID NOT* have SSSS on my BP. I walked onto the new (worthless) shoe scanner, and the machine printed out a piece of paper with my photo and some info about my shoes. Apparently it did not like my shoes for whatever reason and i was walked across 7 TSA lanes to the selectee line by the CLEAR employee.
There were 6 TSA agents in the selectee line who performed my screening, two of them on me, and two on each carry-on. The TSA was very efficient and my screening was done in under 1 minute. I asked them why I was a selectee and they said "thats the CLEAR people's policy not ours"
But this is completely ridiculous that I am a selectee because I PAID CLEAR $100 to have the privlege of going thru TSA faster but now with the new piece of worthless "shoe scanner", it now takes me MUCH LONGER to use CLEAR than it would if I just went thru TSA normally with no shoe scan!!!!!!!!!
It has become CLEAR to me that CLEAR is a waste of money!!!! You are FORCED to have your shoes scanned (and then xrayed anyway) whether you want to or not!!!!!
I have long been a proponent of CLEAR because it has worked so well for me in the past but now with the shoe scanner FORGET IT
