Arizonians and Feberary?!?!?

My wife was in queue for a very long time tonight (I have posted a separate thread about US not accepting any calls all day for Gold Int'l). Whoever US contracted with to provide their on hold call messages (currently about the various locations US flies to) used the term "Arizonians" and pronounced the month Feb as "Feberary."

Us Arizonans don't like to be called Arizonians!

Just trying to supply some humor while we work through the call queue issue today. As I stated in the other post, we never call since we do everything on line. I work with a lot of talent companies for IVR and on hold messages and have for 15 years, the "Feberary" statement was a shocker for me. Darn it, we will get the Arizonan thing fixed in my lifetime, but when did Americans older than 6 start pronouncing Feb as "Feberary?" Perhaps it's because of American Idol or Survivor?

Tonight we called the Gold Int'l line for three person premium int'l award travel and the call was handled by Christina in Mexico. Absolutely flawless customer service with a very helpful attitude! ^ ^ She's getting a Star Award and A&B cert from our family.

Just a lesson for folks that have responsibility for marketing, customer service and sales: "Call your own support line regularly!!!" @:-)
