I booked the cheapest spg.com room at the W NY $199/night at the time and was plat upgraded to a 2 room suite with an incredible view. I've certainly been upgraded to larger suites, but for NYC it was certainly larger than anything i'd pay for. 2 bathrooms, one full and the other a half with a weird sliding door...
Best bed I've ever slept in.
