From recent experience, anyone who gets res to put notes or information sectors into end-to-end bookings to "link" them is lucky. I've personally had a succession of raspberries when trying this. Not that it's really mattered much - more irritation than anything else that res agents have just refused to do something which I know they can do. But it wasn't important enough to me to do the phone, phone, phone again trick.
