AC & NZ lounges are the only ones you will have access to (since no access as arriving pax to the TBIT interim lounge). NZ lounge is far nicer than the AC right next door. However, at busy times (evening) you probably won't have access to NZ lounge due to capacity constraints.
If one were to purchase a refundable ticket on NZ, use the lounge, and then cancel the reservation around 1030pm, do you forsee an issue? I've never pulled this trick with anyone except UA. I'm wondering if the fact that its international makes it any more difficult to use
