The FAA has changed the exit row requirements again. About the 5th time in as many weeks. The current rule is the window seat cannot recline at anytime. It has to remain locked. The other seats in the exit row or just in front now have full recline all the time. There are to be no recline switches anymore. I believe that all the aircraft are being refitted with this capibility as they go in for cabin modifications.
Thought so...but didn't know about the other seats being able to recline all the time now! Thanks for the clarification. One less job for the FA...not bad.
I don't want to get ahead of ourselves here, but I wonder what the possibility is of jetBlue removing the WINDOW seats in all exit rows now. It would be another 4 seats of the plane, so I'm not sure if that can really be justified after removing 6 seats.
