Those are the two that matter. NC0 means that your upgrade will not confirm at this point. C9 means that there are at least nine C seats left for sale, so your chances are not terrible as of now.

D and Z availability will typically tell you the degree of seats left, since those are the lower C buckets.

So I should just book that econ ticket online and request an upgrade? I don't see any advantage to calling the 1K rev line, do you? When will I know it is confirmed or not and how do they contact me?
