Just consider yourself lucky you didn't take a KLM metal flight!! I just came back on NW (and I totally agree with your statement). I flew over to AMS Friday evening on KLM and I have to say, aside from the KLM Dutch houses, the total experience was extremely poor. The food was worse than anything I've had on any flight in any class. The FA's (after the inital meal service), were non existent, and I'm not trying to be a fashion plate, but what gives with their uniforms!!
