£300k is only £180,000 after tax. I doubt many people with an after-tax income of 'just' £180k would spend £7,500 - £10,000 on a pair of F seats to go on holiday (double that if they take a couple of kids). Especially once they've paid £30,000 pa for their nanny, £10,000 for nursery fees and £100,000 towards clearing the £1m mortgage they had to take out to buy a rotting Victorian terraced house in a 'middle-ranking but certainly not posh' area.
From sound of this, it seems like these people live in abject poverty.
If they cannot afford F travel, then there are three other cabins to choose from. The rest of the world makes the choice, so can she and her chairman husband.
Rumor also has it that one reason for the Boeing defection to Chicago was because the then-spouse of the CEO thought Seattle was not good enough for her. Probably just an urban myth though; still funny.
