This is not true anymore, MikesInLA. They charge a change fee for ALL tickets, domestic and international, even when upgrading to a higher fare basis.
And just to finish off the thread, I ended up in Germany a day or so ago. It seemed like half the plane was sick already (even both the flight attendants working my section), so I doubt my germs did anything bad to anyone.
