Ok, so this was a little weird. I was already EUA's for the BOS-MSP leg at 7 days. The MSP-SFO leg was not. Last night (as I reported I would) I attempted check-in, saw "upgrade not available but you are on the waitlist" and saw my seat was still 18C in coach and then checked KVM. KVM said P7 F7 and no R. I cancelled out and went to bed. I wake up this am and do it again. Again I get the "upgrade not available but you are on the waitlist" message but when I hit continue I notice the seat assignment is now 1B. I went and checked KVM leaving check-in right where it was, and I still see P7 F7 and no R. I then go back to finish check-in and print the BP. Again I go back to KVM and now it shows P6 F6. So, without the R bucket it seems I got the upgrade or I was flagged for the upgrade and it moved the F to R right before I finished check-in? This was a weird one to figure out, particularly because it gave me the "sorry not available" message but still gave me the UG..but the good news is i am 100% on the year 6 for 6.
