I tried to do the NW/Quantas Circle Pacific, but the fare isn't overly attractive. A great option is the Singapore Air/Air New Zealand Circle Pacific. Business Class is $4300 including up to 22,000 miles. I did:
LAX->Christchurch->Melbourne->Singapore->Bangkok->LAX
