I went a little mad in the Hunter Valley over Xmas and now my 48 bottles of wine have arrived in the UK. Customs refuse to accept that they are trade samples as labelled, and want me to pay duty.
They are of course for my own consumption, but before I fork out a lot of money to clear them, has anyone got any suggestions how I could perhaps avoid this rip off tax?
