I stay at the Southfield Marriott and have to put in a plug for them - the hotel itself is cookie cutter Marriott, but the staff is hands down the best I have encountered at any Marriott chain globally - they really go the extra mile and provide outstanding service. There is no mall, and just the typical Marriott food fare, but I would definitely recommend it, just based on the staff alone.
