Of course it does. No matter who the recipient of the tax money, people are going to be pissed at AA (and all other airlines charging the fee).
I would argue that one could refuse to pay the taxes on moral objection and with true grit, drive to their destination in their $32,200 :impressed: automobile. Or did I somehow loose track of where this thread was going??
