The LX wedgie-bed is useless in its flat position. Total sliding board. (Note: if you take LX C, read the instructions for operating the seat - they will definitely help you get it into a desirable position.) Other than that, nice cabin, service, etc. I also like the times that LX departs LAX and arrives ZRH. Almost a full day in LA and easier to sleep on the outbound. And Bradley terminal is almost quiet at that hour!

I have never found UA/LH/LZ Z fares to Europe from west coast for less than US $3K, +/-, so if that fare suits, I would take it.
