The last flight out of Shenzhen is 21:55 with SHenzhen airlines. Tha last Air China flight leaves at 21:35. The rates can be anything between RMB510 and 1280 plus 110 taxes. It depends on how many days you book ahead, the booking situation and if there are holidays. Less discounts around Chinese new year, May 1st and Canton fair times (April15-30 and october 15-30). The last Air China flight to Chengdu leaves at 22:15 (You said you want to go to Sichuan, so I mention it here) and costs between 560 and 1410 (plus tax).
It is very likely that you will have les dicount on one leg. The flight Shenzhen Chengdu is 560, the return on the same day 850. (I looked up March 1st) Chongqing Shenzhen is even 960 on that day.
The same most of the time applies to the Shanghai Shenzhen route that I always use.
