Curious to know how Avis stacks up with both of Hertz and National at most big airports. In my mind, I always think of Avis as the #2 rental car brand - behind Hertz, ahead of National. Ive always had that same sort of perception, Hertz is #1, National is #2 and Avis is #3. Nearly everytime I rent from Avis I end up with some stunk up, 30k mile Impala. At least Hertz takes care of there cars (and gets them out around 20k miles) and at National you can choose your own car. As far as speed, #1 Club Gold imo is fastest, but depending on location (RSW has the nicest elderly exit agents, but they take a LONG time) its faster to use the EA.
