The SQ lounge at SFO is apparently very sporadic and maverick in their policies and enforcement. Last time we flew to Asia (in December), we used the SQ lounge. When our flight was delayed, we popped into the RCC. We mentioned that we had been in the SQ lounge, and the attendants both sounded very surprised - "They actually let you in?"
