sleeper...there has been a few suggestions for villas in phuket amongst them sri panwa, phuket pavilion and trisara ....

sri panwa is imo a badly laid out hotel both the resort and villa layout ....you enter the resort via a very steep hill and then you check in midway at the "lobby" - heaven forbid that it is raining .....and the climb and walk to your villa ....well in any case to the one i went to ...was a long and winding one and was more nervewrecking when you are holding a hand luggage and an umbrella .....and the worst was in the villas itself .....layouts etc. good views but if i am not mistaken there is no beach ....i checked out next day pronto....now if your decision is based on price .....then maybe it would be OK ...but surely even if based on price you definately get other villas elsewhere which are better.....the pool is badly situated and the restaurant which would probably be the nicest facility .but its in a converted villa.....ho hum....

phuket pavillions - have made my observations known in previous postings - suffice to say its a big yawn and a waste of time to even consider it

trisara would probably be the best out of the three ....but if the price difference is not that great ..splurge it all at the AMANPURI ....you deserve it !!!
