VDB opportunity with LH FRA-DEL?
Booked FRA-DEL on LH760, in paid C. Seatcounter shows F1, C0, Y1. I don't absolutely need to be in Delhi at 1:15am; is there a VDB opportunity lurking here? And how does LH handle them if there is? I'm aware of the normal UA procedure (including "get it in writing" ), but a search for VDB on this forum turned up ZERO threads!

If I do take this flight, I'd love to use a SWU to upgrade. Any advice to a lowly UA GS flying in HON country on how to improve the odds? Can I check in with LH at IAD the night before?
