Call me crazy, but it feels good to get on the plane while boarding on the carpet that says "elite boarding". And that does mean when it's all the elites getting on board. It's not about getting in front of anyone while pre-boarding, but to me, it seems if they're going to go the trouble (and expense) of putting out these carpets, they ought to have those folks walk on the carpet. Might be kind of silly, but I like it.
