I used the new Premier area on Tuesday. Check in was fine, and there's a separate security area. However, the security area is smaller -- only two WTMDs and only one was open. I was there at a non-busy time, but I can see this taking longer than the original Premier area. Also, the area is way at the end of the UA counters, and the security area lets you into the terminal at some distance from the "main" walkthrough that leads to the RCC and the majority of the gates. Looks like it will be a little more walking and a little more waiting until the renovation is finished.
