are there really U.S. airpots that let non-passengers into secured area now? I could swear I heard this on the radio a while ago...but can't find anything here about it... I think it was on NPR radio about 2 or 3 weeks ago.

Non-passenger as in someone who just want to visit a restaurant inside the terminal...
