The Doubletree is in a perfect location for me based on where I wanted to have lunch before hitting the road next day.However the Hilton looks great from the website with excellent beds and a beautiful lobby unless they are misrepresenting the property.And the location is another five minutes by car.So also fairly located.
With A GPS system I would think it would get me to their door safely without getting into the dodgy area.
I would also remove virtually everything out of my car.And the rate is fair enough.
Your report on the Doubletree frightens me.
I thought hilton cleaned house with poor quality property standards within the Hampton and Doubletree brands.
That can kill a brand perception fast even with a nice bed!
well, I'm not saying DON'T stay at the DT. I've stayed there a couple times and I've made it out alive. I'm just saying, if I had my options I'd rather stay at another Hilton property in LR.
