Recently I gate checked a bag at DTW for a Omaha flight. When I arrived in Omaha, my bag wasn't there. I called NW and inquired, they told me they would call back when they found the bags. I got a call at Midnight (I said it was ok to call me then...)-the woman indicated that the bag was in AMS...(lol!). She indicated that it would be on the next flight back, and that it would be delivered to my hotel. She asked me if I needed any clothes for the next day or so... I replied not really, but a box of cigars from AMS would be excellent...SHe replied that she couldn't do that... and laughed. Very ameiable and very friendly. She said thank you for your patience and nice attitude...

I got the bag late the next night. When I opened the bag, there was a fresh box of Montecristo Churchills (with a note that said thank you)...and we all know where those come from!

I can't fault their service!
