i was delayed 4 hrs on NW (KLM metal) earlier this year and got nothing. but i didn't expect anything. however couple weeks ago a KL flight to DTW was 2 hrs late, i missed my connection to DCA and had to wait. as i'm royal wing i got into the worldclub lounge, tried to make a phone call and found their payphone wanted to charge me $10 for a 1-min call to the netherlands.

i complained to the worldclub desk. i expected they'd give me some way to make a short phone call. they gave me some vouchers, i used the sprint 8-minute-long-distance card on it and was about to throw it away when i noticed it also included a $100 discount voucher!
