I used the new elite check in desk last Sunday (1/21) around 2pm. I think this might have been the first day it was moved... no customers at the counter or in line, I walked right up to 3 agents who were chatting and asked if they thought hiding in the new location would keep them less busy... got a small laugh.
I think its something like positions 1-8; the furthest counter positions on the left when you enter the terminal.
