Agree, the supplied coffee pots are overpriced and bad tasting. However, you can make your own pods out of regular coffee filters. Just cut a little pouch about the same size as a pre-made pod and fill it with coffee, but just grind your coffee a lot more fine than you normally would. Insert and enjoy. Seems to work OK.
