Another option if you're happy with RBC is to switch to the Avion card. You can either use the points directly to buy flights or transfer them to BA Executive Club or AsiaMiles.

We tend to put everything we can on the card and then pay it off at the end of the month. Then we take advantage of the annual (no guarantees but they've had them the last 4 years) 50% bonus on transfers to BA in December.

Of course, the latest flight we booked with those points got messed up by the BA strike but that's a different issue.
