All depends of when you would like to fly:

* Air France operates the B744 in summer and the A343 in winter between CDG and SFO. Both aircraft are equipped with the NEV seats, but if you are looking for extensive IFE, you might be disappointed ;

* KLM currently operates the MD11 on AMS SFO, but will upgrade to a full pax B744 for the summer. You have only a minimal chance of hitting a reconfigured B744, although the seats on the non-reconfigured ones are definitely more comfortable, yet the retrofitted aircraft have the fabulous IFE system. Come November, KLM will reintroduce the B772 with new seats and IFE on the SFO route ;
