I was recently on a CO flight from EWR to TPA sitting in 2B after my EUA and a couple with a lap child were in 1DE (yes, first class). That child threw tantrums for almost half the flight (including when the parents had to keep her in their lap prior to takeoff, although she finally did settle while we were still taxiing), not to mention vomiting all over the place before we even got to the runway. I won't get into all the details, but needless to say, I was not very happy with the noise or the other issue. I guess if they paid for a FC ticket and have a lap kid, they can bring them along.
