According to this article, AirTran will begin service in STL beginning May 8, 2007, with 4 daily flights to ATL. Beginning June 7, 2007, one flight per day will be added to MCO.
Although the article states that gates haven't been decided, the word on A.net is that AirTran will use the B gates in STL.
It will be interesting to see how this works out. STL fliers are pretty loyal to AA, which provides 7 flights/day on RJs to ATL, and 3 flights/day to MCO on MD-80s. WN also provides non-stop service to MCO 4 times/day.
