I'm not sure what this place is like from a flight sim point of view, but my mum lives a mile or so from where it is. They do also do balloon rides over some lovely countryside if that interests you.

If you did go, there is a lovely gastro pub/restaurant/mini hotel which is great less than a mile up the road (http://www.generaltarleton.co.uk/).
Not sure what the rooms are like so can't vouch for them personally, but I have heard they are good. Both places are less than a 5 minute drive from the A1.
