I have them on my backpack, briefcase, and all my checked luggage. It really does make them much eaiser to spot on the carousel.

They only time someone commented about them, I was walking thru SAN last year and passed a real cutie. She smiled and said, "I like your tag sweetie", and kept walking. I assumed that was the tag she was speaking of.

Speaking of tags......... When in SAN on that trip, I went to the USS Midway. In the gift shop, I bought one of those key chains that is red and says, Remove Before Flight" because I always thought they looked cool. My dad had those on his Cessna in my younger years. I put it on the pull on the top of my briefcase/laptop case.

Going thru the shoe carnival at GSO one morning, I was pulled over to the side so they could search my laptop case. Lots of gizmo's in there (including a lighter they missed ), and I thought that was why. Before he finished searching it, three other TSA'ers, including the supervisor, came over to examine that tag.

Maybe I'm slow but did Abu Nidal pioneer the use of the tags on items they tried to smuggle on planes???? They looked like they just found my secret squirrel decoder ring that unlocks the nasty secrets of FF'ers everywhere...

Safe travels
