When you reach your milestone, you're actually qualifying for the NEXT year's program (e.g. 75K EQM in 06/2006 is qualification for 3/07-2/08. CO is nice and extends you the status for the remainder of the current year as well.

OK, so I don't 100% agree with the interpretation as I described it above as a justification to not send the packets, but that's pretty much what it is.

And really the only thing of value is the 4 drink coupons, so you are maybe getting shorted $20 in value. I suppose it is CO's way of thanking the early achievers.
