Interlining on different PNRs
Hi.
When booking multicity bookings through Singapore Airlines website, I find that if any of the flights involve Silkair or its codeshare partners, the price quoted will be significantly higher. Which makes me think of just booking Singapore Airlines flight through the website, and buy other tickets from different places.
Will Singapore Airlines still interline in such a case?
In particular, I am concerned about interlining with Malaysia Airlines and Silkair.
Also, if the answer is yes to my previous question (i.e. Singapoe Airlines will check my baggage through to an MI flight even if its on a different PNR), can it be said the same in reverse (e.g. MI will check through to SQ eventhough it's different PNR)?
(I'm slightly concerned that airlines will follow BMI's no-through-check-in-on-different-PNRs policy)
Thanks. =)
