The LH lounges in FRA and in MUC have both given me issue when my card was not available even when the boarding pass indicated my status and even when I had printouts and computer screen displays showing my status. They've been the biggest pain about it when I was in such circumstances, even worse than BA's lounge dragons. (It may be a case of YMMV, but the LX lounges didn't give me issue.)
