Just curious, why 86B? I have 85B reserved for the SEA-NRT and return segments (1B for the NRT-BKK and return). Should I change to 86B?</font>
Welcome! Scatter.
I think that you'll find any seat on the upper deck of NW's 747-200s to have more than enough room. On my trip back from Europe this summer I sat in 85J and couldn't have touched the bulkhead in front of my seat without standing up to do so. Though I do prefer the window seats on the upper deck as it is next to the carryon storage bin under the windows--there is no overhead storage up there, so if you're in a aisle seat and want to get at your stuff you'll have to reach over the person in the window seat. There is enough room in 85K to get out of your seat when 85J is fully reclined.
