I wouldn't go as far as gglave as saying Pink Pearl is excellent but it's ok in a pinch. The neighbourhood looks really dodgy but I never had my car broken in while eating there or felt unsafe (even at night). It's really popular and very non-Chinese friendly (English menus, English speaking staff, etc). There's also lots of seating.

Personally, it's not on the top of my list because:
- As I mentioned earlier, for a few dollars more I think you can get way better food.
- I'd rather order off a card than pluck off a cart because I think the food is fresher and you don't have to worry about the table before you scooping the last two steamers of haw gaw. [Can anyone confirm if they still using carts?]
- A few years back during a wedding, I thought some of the staff were acting pretty unprofessionally (long story). Hadn't experienced anything bad from a server perspective since then but did seem to wait forever for something good to arrive on a cart (tho, yes, you can ask to order directly from the kitchen).
