This is smart. In fact it would be dumb to not give these people a few hours training in what kinds of things should be reported. A little observation can go a long way in saving lives [e.g. Richard Jewel].

I hope some of the folks demeaning the people in some of these service jobs find themselves working in one of those jobs one day ... ideally in a non-English speaking country.
