As it happens I'd just bloody thrown out a BP from a UA flight in July lsat night. I've just routed in the bin and couldn't find it so I suspect its gone into the wheelie bin.

All I sugest you do is print out a screening of you BD status and take it with you.

Don;t forget thats its the piece system used for flights to the US, so I think you can have 1 bag weighing upto 32 kg, not your standard 20kg.
