If this is an award ticket, PHL->LAX->SIN->SYD is a valid routing and if you are lucky enough to have availabilty on the days you want to fly and the miles to support it SQ F is a wonderful way to fly transpac.

Their C class isn't that bad either on the 772ERs

The biggest downside is you will never want to fly a US flagged carreir again.
