I have stayed at the RC Battery Park many times. It is a very nice city hotel with great views. I work downtown and stay here quite often. 2 west is a great bar on the top floor, quite small though. I have not stayed on the club level though. There Harbour View Suites are approxiamtely 850-900 square feet and include a telescope in the room. The restaurant in the lobby has very good steaks, with a sauce-concierge/butler that comes out and explains the various sauces to you that they make (very nice touch). As for the Battery Park area, there is really not that much to do so if you are looking to go to midtown or a show, then the subways are the best option, or a taxi can always be found. Overall it is a very nice hotel, typical Ritz Carlton service, but also just a city hotel, not a resort. The Ritz in Central Park is much more elegant and in a better location, but is much, much more expensive in every way.
