Actually, now that you mention it, there have been a couple notable accidents involving elements found at the rear of the aircraft, not the front. The rear lavs are much closer to these elements, for what it's worth (not much).

How depressing even thinking about this. I guess we'll just have to issue every passenger TSA-approved undergarments. Or maybe sedate every passenger with TSA-approved sleeping pills. Then we'll all be safe.
