Just for myself, I'd bring one large rolly suitcase and one pretty sizable carryon that could double as a weekend bag if you have a chance to get away. I'd probably bring one dress that could go to work with a blazer over it and go out on the weekends, four or five pairs of dress pants in dark colors, one additional jacket and one or two dressy cardigan sweaters that work with the pants, and short sleeve interchangeable tops for the group. I'd stay away from suits unless they are required for work or are sufficiently monochormatic that they can work with the other items. I'd probably bring four pairs of shoes: comfortable dark walking shoes that I'd wear on the plane, slighly dressier flat shoes for work, one pair of low heeled pumps that would work for work or evenings, and a pair of sandals. Of course, if you want to hike in the mountains, I guess you'd need another pair for that. I'd also bring two small purses, one dark leather for work/evening, and one canvas or something similar for weekends. I've been in Europe for three to four week stretches for business, and that's sort of the combo I've come to rely on; I don't take jeans or shorts, but I might throw in a swimsuit if there is a pool, and I'd probably bring at least one set of work out cloths on the theory that I might work out....
