Indeed if you look at the picture in the OP carefully you can see LH type seats (grey and yellow) in the background.
To me it doesn't look like these new stairs take up any more room than the current 747-400 setup, so I'm a bit confused by the bean counter comments above.
Lastly, the OP mentioned 747-800 but I believe it is only the 747-8 in Boeing terminology. I think they've recoild from using the hundreds in their latest generation of aircraft.
