That's Ryanair's niche, it's not the case for all LCCs. More troubling with Ryanair is cost-cutting in terms of staff and operating procedures.

Ryanair's niche is the cheapest of the cheap. Easyjet sit right in the middle. Air Berlin have gone for full service. FlyBE go for small aircraft on regional routes. And plenty more examples I've never had the 'pleasure' of!
