In the AMS KLM lounges, on my last time through, swiping your NW Platinum card got you 30 minutes of free internet access (either with LAN or using the terminals...not the wireless). And you could swipe every thirty minutes for more time....!

But today, the kiosk screen prints out the internet access codes FREE (LAN or terminals...still not wireless) with the push of a button. So, no need to be Platinum anymore, just get into the club, and surf away.

Random notes from the flight experience. I am a platinum, flying in coach. At check-in in SEA, my bags got tagged with Priority tags and the Agent reminded me I could "relax" in the Lounge, and told me where to find it.

While I did not sit up front, I saw the Purser shake everyone's hands and thank them for flying NW Airlines.

Those were nice extra touches.
