I would be very concerned. I think if this happened we would witness a serious drop in the quality of Cabin Service!

Very frankly, I don't have a problem with Asian based crew working non Asian flights at all. In fact, I would support it. From my experience IN GENERAL Asian based FA's are more diligent in preforming the duties of an FA, and provide a higer level of service to the passenger.

Allegations about QF not paying a fair wage are ludicrous. It is obvious that these Thailand based employees are being paid a fair wage, they signed on voluntarily. I love it when people complain that they're not being paid a fair wage but don't resign. This shows either: i. they are being paid at market level, or ii. they are overpaid. They are most certainly making a very comfortable wage in Thailand. The facts that they work outside flights to/from Thailand flights are irrelevant, since all expenses at outposts are covered by the company.
